From this central location, we manage all aspects of our services, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality support for our clients and consultants. Our team’s expertise keeps AES at the forefront of association management and consultancy. Nick Koerbin is the founder and Executive Director of AES. One of Australia’s most experienced and innovative association management professionals, Nick brings over 30 years of leadership experience as a CEO and senior executive across more than ten not-for-profit (NFP) organisations. He specialises in working with NFP Boards to develop solutions that deliver high-value services and member benefits. His expertise in governance, strategic planning, and NFP business operations is highly regarded both in Australia and internationally. Nick is the author of the Association Executives Toolkit, a bi-annual publication used by association leaders across Australia.

Founded in 2010, AES is a commercial consultancy and advisory firm specialising in comprehensive management services for the not-for-profit (NFP) sector. We support membership-based associations and NFP organisations by helping them achieve sustainable growth and long-term financial stability. What distinguishes AES from other association management companies is our team of highly experienced professionals, each with extensive expertise gained from years of working within the NFP sector.
