Peter Daly 

Peter Daly is an accomplished Company Director, Board Chair, and former CEO with over 20 years’ experience in senior executive and governance roles across complex, member-based and regulated sectors. He brings to AES a strong track record of strategic leadership, organisational transformation, and stakeholder engagement.

He has successfully led the development and execution of refocus strategies that have delivered significant organisational change, strengthened governance frameworks, and enhanced member and stakeholder value. As part of the AES team his approach is outcomes-focused, built on a foundation of integrity, collaboration, and evidence-based decision-making.

Adept at navigating complex policy and political environments, he has a track record of consistently built trusted relationships and consensus with diverse stakeholder groups—including boards, government agencies, unions, regulators and industry leaders—to drive both business performance and positive public policy outcomes.
