The focus of this first session will be Shared Strategies to approach Government Decision Makers.
Approaching government decision makers can be a daunting process for many Associations. Having a clear strategy about who to contact, how to pitch your argument and what follow-up is needed will increase your chances of getting the outcome you want.
Participants in the Special Interest Group will discuss success strategies that work including: creating a compelling case for change,
building coalitions, working with the bureaucracy and instilling a sense of urgency amongst decision-makers.
This new group will be led by AES Executive Consultant, Peter Daly who
brings a wealth of experience and practical knowledge
in advocacy and government engagement.
