Advocacy within Associations is rarely straightforward.

Whether you are advocating for funding, policy change, member interests, industry recognition or stakeholder engagement, many Associations face similar challenges - limited resources, competing priorities, changing government landscapes and the ongoing need to demonstrate impact.

Key discussion points will include:

• How do you approach stakeholder engagement?
• How do you manage member expectations during policy change?
• Have you had experiences with poor policy outcomes?

This collaborative session is designed to provide a space for open discussion, shared learning and valuable peer connection. 

This SIG will be led by AES Executive Consultant Peter Daly, who brings a wealth of experience and practical knowledge in advocacy and government engagement.
