Being an association CEO can be rewarding, challenging — and sometimes a little overwhelming.

Every association is different. You’re working with a volunteer Board, responding to the needs of members, managing competing priorities and expectations, and making decisions that can have a significant impact on the organisation.

So how do you navigate the role successfully?

Join Nick Koerbin, Executive Director of Association Executive Services, for an interactive session exploring the realities of leading an association.

Drawing on his extensive experience working with associations and their leaders, Nick will explore some of the common challenges CEOs face, practical lessons learned along the way, and what can help you become more effective in the role.

There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and learn from other association leaders.

This session is ideal for:

• New CEOs who are still finding their feet
• Experienced CEOs looking to share experiences and gain new perspectives
• Aspiring CEOs who want to better understand what the role involves

You’ll leave with practical ideas, useful insights and a better understanding of how others are navigating the challenges of association leadership.
