Technology in Associations: Insights & Learnings

Hosted by Nick Koerbin, this 'Lunch & Learn' live webinar will delve into technology in associations.

Association Executive Services (AES) recently distributed a survey to Australian associations seeking information on technology. We received nearly 100 responses from association CEOs and senior leaders throughout Australia. The insights and learnings discovered through the survey will be discussed in this online session.

The survey focused on platforms currently in use, the costs of this technology, challenges being encountered, and the solutions to these, as well as the technology considerations that are a priority in the near future.

Technology is increasingly becoming an essential component of everyday life and of business operations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, associations needed to quickly adapt to using technology in new and innovative ways. We have used technology to engage and communicate with members and stakeholders, to host remote events and conferences, to connect with internal personnel, and to share important resources in a remote working environment.

As we emerge from the pandemic, there is a catch up of technology and a review of new systems that will enable associations to perform better meeting the needs of the members or stakeholders. One of the biggest challenges for association leaders is to ensure that their selected technology platforms are the right fit for their organisation.

A copy of the survey report will be provided to all attendees.

AES is committed to enabling associations to achieve business excellence and long term sustainability. AES has no commercial interest in any IT business or vendor that supplies services to associations.
