Join a team modernising one of Australia’s leading professional associations
The New South Wales Bar Association is the professional body representing practising barristers across New South Wales. We play a vital role in supporting the administration of justice through technology, innovation and exceptional member services.
As our digital transformation continues, we are looking for a Business Systems & Support Analyst to join our Information Technology team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving business problems with technology. You’ll provide day-to-day support to staff while taking an active role in developing and improving our core business systems, particularly our newly implemented iMIS platform.
Working in a small, collaborative team, you’ll have exposure to a broad range of technologies, projects and business stakeholders, making this an ideal role for someone looking to expand their skills beyond traditional IT support.

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will:

Most associations can provide a long list of membership benefits. They may include professional development, advocacy, networking, industry information, events, resources, accreditation, discounts and access to specialist advice. However, a list of benefits does not necessarily explain why someone makes the decision to join.
While every Board is different, the same governance issues appear time and again. One of the most common is allowing one person’s behaviour
to dominate the Board table.
Almost every Board has experienced it at some point. One director who seems to consume more time and energy than everyone else combined.
A renewal invoice is not a request for last year's money. It is a request to pay for next year's benefits. The moment a member — individual or corporate — opens that invoice, they make a decision: renew, or walk.
How we help membership based, not-for-profit associations now and into the future.
