Neighbourhood Watch Australasia Limited (NHWA) is seeking to appoint a CEO to work with the Board to manage the operations of the organisation. The location of this position is to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
NHWA is a federally funded not-for-profit registered charity organisation with DGR status, which is the overarching body of all member Neighbourhood Watch groups in Australia and Neighbourhood Support New Zealand organisations. For further information please refer to www.nhwa.com.au
The successful applicant will be required to facilitate a comprehensive and coordinated range of financial and business support services - including financial management, project management, reporting to the Federal Government, risk management and office management services.

As Chief Executive Officer, you will lead a small but highly skilled and passionate team, supported by an Executive Assistant to ensure smooth operations and effective coordination across all programs and partnerships. This hands-on leadership role combines strategic vision with community heart, driving national initiatives that strengthen community safety, foster collaboration with law enforcement, and deliver meaningful outcomes for communities of every size.

That may well be true. Starting a new association is a serious commitment, not just a reaction. Let me be clear:

In the association sector, this is not unusual. Most grievances begin with a concern or disagreement, but if not handled appropriately, they can escalate into a prolonged and disruptive issue.
