As a purpose-driven organisation, Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) plays a
pivotal role in providing services to members, providing continuous professional education and advocating for traditional medicine across
the country. Passionate in their advocacy and member focused initiatives, ATMS is committed to supporting their membership base and
advancing natural medicine in Australia.
Navigating the industry's ever evolving landscape, and drawing on their 39 years of representing practitioners, ATMS is proud of their
commitment to leading the traditional medicine industry by providing exceptional member services. Their member focused initiatives include
continuing professional education, accredited modality research, and advocacy with government bodies and health insurers.
The position:
An exciting opportunity for an individual with an
interest in traditional and complementary medicine to join ATMS as their CEO and make a meaningful impact in the community. Responsible for
steering the ongoing expansion of the Society’s membership base and enhancing service delivery, the CEO oversees all ATMS operations within
established policies and in alignment with the authority delegated by the Board of Directors.
This role would suit a reasoned, pragmatic and trustworthy individual with a growth mindset. As the CEO plays a key role in supervising the
planning and strategic direction of the organisation, we are looking for someone with a strong business acumen and someone who is familiar
with managing Board dynamics as well as a team.
