The Regional Aviation Association of Australia (RAAA) is seeking an experienced executive to build on our existing foundations and lead the association into the future. Our CEO must have an intimate knowledge of the aviation industry and the challenges it faces. Experience in working with government and in particular CASA is also essential. This role will suit a dynamic person who can also plan and execute our popular regional roadshow events, attracting presenters on relevant topics and providing great networking opportunities for our members.

The RAAA provides Australian aviation organisations support to create and grow sustainable and safe aviation companies. Our vision is to become the preferred membership choice for all aviation related organisations in Australia.

An attractive remuneration package will be offered with a $200,000 plus salary commensurate with experience.

The successful applicant will be capable of implementing and driving the following strategies;

• Engage & leverage Government agencies;
• Design and implement an effective advocacy platform;
• Develop a robust policy position on current and future aviation regulations;
• Increase the RAAA footprint in Australia;
• Identify non-core revenue generating opportunities;
• Working effectively with the Board and sub-committees;
• Develop a comms and marketing plan to promote the RAAA value proposition.
