The Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA) champions responsible investing and a sustainable financial system in Australia and New Zealand. With over 500 members representing US$29 trillion in assets under management, RIAA is the largest and most active network of people and organisations engaged in responsible, ethical and impact investing across Australia and New Zealand. Their membership includes superannuation funds, KiwiSaver providers, fund managers, banks, consultants, researchers, brokers, impact investors, property managers, trusts, foundations, faith-based groups, financial advisers and individuals.
The Chief Executive Officer will work with the Board to deliver on the current strategic plan focused on ensuring a commercially sustainable future for RIAA through a compelling membership value proposition and sound financial management. The Chief Executive Officer will lead and motivate a sustainable and engaged workforce of passionate professionals and be the key RIAA spokesperson to industry, other member-based organisations, regulatory bodies, impact investors, foundations and business leaders. This will also involve strategising for future growth and ensuring RIAA's mission to support approaches to responsible investment that align capital with achieving a healthy and sustainable society, environment and economy is front and centre for the organisation.
To be successful in this position, you will ideally be an existing Chief Executive Officer or senior leader with strong knowledge and expertise in responsible investment and a track record of growing an organisation with a high-performance culture that truly values diversity of thought and experience. Your exceptional stakeholder management, engagement, and influencing skills combined with public presentation and community engagement expertise and strategic and commercial acumen will be highly regarded, particularly if combined with experience working in organisations with a membership based and/or strong customer focus.
